Our Story
Turning a passion into social change
RoboRisers was founded by Diya Vatsavai, a rising senior in high school with a lifelong passion for robotics and teaching. For over a decade, Diya has competed in robotics challenges like FLL, FRC, and VEX, and has mentored several award-winning junior teams along the way. During a trip to India in 2022, she was struck by how many children lacked access to the resources, tools, and opportunities she had always taken for granted. Inspired to make a difference, Diya combined her two biggest passions—robotics and education—to create RoboRisers, a nonprofit dedicated to bringing hands-on robotics learning to kids around the world. To expand her impact, Diya partners with other nonprofit organizations that serve underserved communities, helping her reach more children who might not otherwise have access to STEM education. Through creative programs, mentorship, and accessible tools, RoboRisers helps young minds everywhere rise to their potential, one robot at a time.
